Lisa is a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She specializes in the treatment of physical and psychiatric illness through the process of nutritional counseling and diet education.
Lisa graduated from Dominican University in River Forest, IL. She completed her internship at Patton State Hospital, a forensic psychiatric hospital, in Patton, California.
Lisa has been a practicing dietitian/nutritionist for over twenty years. She has worked with clients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric medical settings. Lisa worked at the University of Southern California Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. She also specialized in eating disorders and rehabilitation in multiple residential treatment centers, including Creative Care and Pointe Malibu. Most recently, Lisa had the honor of advising and consulting hospital and long-term care companies in the improvement of their nutritional services.
In addition to her vast experience in nutritional counseling and mental health, Lisa has a background in fitness both as a college athlete and, currently, as a spin instructor.
